News and Announcements: LGBT Lunch and Learn Workshop sponsored by Merrill Lynch - Topics include retirement and estate planning for domestic partners, transfer of assets, social security and employee pension plans, domestic partner planning for children, lifetime planning for domestic partners, child care and adoption, etc. Workshops are every Tuesday and Thursday at noon for 1 hour with possible 6:00 pm sessions if enough interest is expressed. MCC of the Chesapeake will be accepting donations for World AIDS Day and HAVEN (HIV and AIDS Volunteer Enrichment Network). This first HH will be held at the Back Bar at Boatyard Bar & Grill in Eastport, corner of 4th & Severn, from 6:30 to 8ish. (In the spirit of full disclosure, this social event has been instituted by members of MCC of the Chesapeake in response to feedback provided by folks new to the area or newly out who are looking for a way to meet local folks in a safe, adult setting.)
